Relativity Music Group to Release Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Relativity’s Immortals, Featuring Score by Emmy®-Winning Composer Trevor Morris
(Beverly Hills, Calif.) November 8, 2011– Relativity Music Group is pleased to announce the release of the original motion picture soundtrack for its visually stunning 3D epic action adventure Immortals today, featuring the original score composed by Emmy®-winning composer Trevor Morris (The Tudors, The Borgias).
The Immortals soundtrack features 22 score cues composed by Morris, while accompanied by a 70-piece orchestra and performed by the legendary London Voices Choir at the renowned Air Studios in London.
Morris is a master of dramatic musical effects for film, television and video games whose credits include emotional, mood-enhancing compositions for such films as Beautiful Boy and the scary action film The Hills Have Eyes 2, and the video games Sin City 5 and Need For Speed: Carbon. He also wrote the powerful score for the acclaimed television mini-series The Pillars of the Earth, based on the best-selling novel by Ken Follett, and won two Gemini®, Canada’s top honors for TV, for his music for The Tudors. Morris won two Emmy® Awards for “Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music,” for The Tudors in 2007, followed by The Borgias in 2011.
The soundtrack will be available on Amazon and digitally on iTunes® Tuesday, November 8th. The physical CD version of the soundtrack will come in a deluxe package with access to download the 5.1 Dolby®-surround sound mixes, along with a behind-the-scenes featurette video on the scoring of the film. Immortals will be released by Relativity in theaters on November 11, 2011.
